Is TUF private or Govt University, established in 2002 under the umbrella of Madina Foundation which is basically a non-profit organization in the light of the vision, industry, and service and, education. The University of Faisalabad has two campuses

 

Health Science Wing: This campus is situated on Sargodha Road Faisalabad. Health Science Wings is specifically designed for females and this campus offers MBBS, BDS, Pharm D, Rehabilitation Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Medical Laboratory Sciences, etc. 

 

Engineering Wing: This campus is offered Co-education and is located on the west canal road. This campus offers Electrical, Chemical, and Civil Engineering. Plus Management studies and Computational Sciences subjects.

The University of Faisalabad has two campuses. Health Science and Engineering Wing. Health Sciences Wing is specifically designed for female and Engineering Wing campuses that offer co-education in TUF. That is why The University of Faisalabad is marked as a coeducation university.

 

Is TUF HEC Recognized?

 

Yes, TUF is an HEC recognized university. The academic activities of the University will be monitored by the quality assurance agency, HEC through the Directorate Enhancement Cell. The quality enhancement cell of the University of Faisalabad works effectively and offers training programs to develop leadership management skills for the employees of the university.

 

The HEC affiliate any university on the basis of different factors such as Academic Majors Available, Affordable cost of Attendance, location, on-campus facility, student activities, and career counseling offered by any university. The University of Faisalabad has fulfilled all these parameters and that is why it is marked as HEC recognized university. The university has also secured the fourth position in Time Higher Education Ranking 2021 among other universities of Pakistan.

Higher Education Commission is a statutory body formed by the government of Pakistan. The main functionality and responsibility of this body is funding, overseeing, regulating, and accrediting the higher education institute of Pakistan. 

 

Role of HEC in promoting and facilitating:

 

HEC has a significant role in the education system of Pakistan.The HEC in Pakistan facilitating and promoting educational research. Through policy analysis as a research methodology. The role has been explored by the analysis of policy provisions, structure, and processes developed by HEC to facilitate and promote educational research.

Another important role of HEC is that it makes formal announcements through media for the awareness of the public in this regard and will also adopt these tests so that that objective set in education policy and IT Action Plan of the Government of Pakistan could be achieved optimally.

HEC is also recognized to hire or appoint members for the joint committee with the company to monitor the ongoing activities and advice.

What is the amount of HEC need-based scholarship?

 

The HEC covers the full tuition fee and monthly stipend RS-6000 /month for 10 months)

 

What is the HEC criteria lecturer?

 

As per the University lecturer criteria, HEC requires Eighteen –year education in the relevant field. The minimum CGPA should be 3.00 or First Division in MS/ M.Phil. Degree /Np third division is allowed.
