A person with a Pharm-D degree working as a Pharmacist can earn from 60k to 160k PKR in Pakistan monthly with added benefits such as transport, housing, and others. 

Bachelors in Pharmacy or B.Pharm (4yrs)

Bachelors in pharmacy is a 4 years program where you study more than 30 subjects. After getting this degree, you are eligible to work in various pharmacy-related sectors, be an assistant to a pharmaceutical doctor in laboratories with a handsome salary or open your own pharmacy or medical store. 

Admission Process

In order to get admission in B.Pharm, you need to pass Fsc. Med with high scores. The merit can be quite high, and the minimum could be 60% marks. The admission opens yearly in universities across Pakistan, and any can apply with the right qualification.

In government universities, the fee is around 1.5 lac, and in private, the amount nearly doubles or triple.

Diploma in Pharmacy Technician (2yrs)

There is another option for you if you like to have a job in the Pharmacy field as an assistant pharmacist, medical store owner, or sales representative. It is a B category 2 years diploma in pharmacy technician. The course will help you know about the pharmaceutical sector after getting matriculation. It can be a side course to increase your knowledge while you do a part-time job.

To get admission in Diploma in Pharmacy Technician, you are only required to do a metric in biosciences. No age limit and marks merit is required. You can study for a diploma in vocational schools or colleges or universities across Pakistan.
